  NPR with Trey Bundy anyone hear anything from the JW's about it.

  i received a call from one of my job's on saturday who lives in settle wa, she was driving and listening to npr and the interview came on, she said she was shocked at how the jw's are dealing with the child abuse problem.

  she has family who are hard core jw's and was sick that her grandchildren could be affected.. she cannot be the only one who has heard this on npr.

  just wondering if there will be any fall out from it or if like everything else it will all just die down in jw land.

  I am not just worried about JW's and their pedophile problem, please don't think that I am that naive to not understand that it is in all places especially the one's you mentioned. I get that, but in the JW world it has impacted me more than any of the places that you mentioned as it has impacted me severely, not that I am in any way what so ever making being molested by a teacher, boy scouts and all the other horrible and horrific places children are abusedin less important.

  I just was wondering if in this case the JW religion has anyone heard of fall out from Trey's story on NPR.

  If Trey does a story on teacher's molesting children I might ask the same question about that. I do not mean any disrepect to anyone who's been abused by any one in power over them.

  I just listened to this finally, I actually feel sick. When Howie said people are wasting their lives, it was me. Everything he said about Bethel, all I can think of is that we had 3 pedophiles in the hall I was in, I was threatened for talking about it.

  There was this one man in the hall he loooooved to pioneer, he was around memy whole life. I could never stand him. His kids were older than I and some where in the "truth" but none ever did much. They never did much with their lives, the boy's had kid's by different women they had a hard time holding job's etc. One of this guy's daughters tried to kill herself when she was in her mid teen's by shooting herself.

  This man just died on October of this year.and their were so many HE that thought this guy walked on water they held his memorial at a high school.

  The other day I thinking about him andhow much I never liked him, I remember being 8, 9 year's old,and how in my teen'she just totally creeped me out. How when I got married he ripped into me because I didn't send him an personal invitation to my wedding. I remember him totally rebuking me telling me that I owed hima privite invite.

  To finsh this story. I just realized he was never an elder, I don't even think MS, all those year's pioneering all the admiration why was he never an elder?

  Did you ever think about being persecuted?

  i was introduced to the jw religion at the age of 7. i can't recall when i was taught about having to suffer persecution in the so-called last days, but i do remember thinking that i would crumble under pressure.. as i entered my young adult years, i imagined how governments would persecute us.

  i had thoughts of being tortured for information and then how i would say anything to the torturer just to stop the pain and then be labeled a modern-day judas, missing out on everlasting life.. the jw way of life and expectations are both scary and unrealistic.. i am glad i have canceled armageddon.

  also, if i should ever be tortured for some belief or principle, i shall remain strong until the end.

  Evil is all I can say. I to had nightmares, I one teacher grab me and force my hand over my heart, another shook me so hard I thought my neck would snap. I was 7. I look back and just can't understand it. I was a kid, how could an adult a teacher be so mean to a child who is in a cult?

  Love the work Tray is doing. One of my job's even saw his part on PBS and was impressed as she has JW family and she said it helped her to talk to them about this.

  There Were TWO Child Molesters Hiding In My Old Congregation

  it's come out in my old congregation that, not one, but two child molesters have been hiding in my old congregation.

  i knew both of them and one of them, an old man, was regularly at my house for field service meetings on a weekly basis.. in my old congregation there's an apostate who was awake long before i was.

  unfortunately he cant leave because his wife and children and parents are still full on believers.

  We had 3 in the hall I went to here in the North West in the state's.

  Same thing the elder's kept it under wraps, even threatened to df me because I told a foster mom. this one elder telling me he had to convince the mom that brother pedophile was safe to be around, all because of me and that I was nothing more than a pure gossip.

  It just makes my blood boil.

  i'm not sure where it is airing elsewhere, but on the a&e channel, at 7p then again at 10p est tonight, leah remini is doing a scientology special.

  it looks to be a great show.

  i am not sure if it is one time, or the beginnings of a series.

  ) report: i think it is a must read and shows clearly that shunning also needs to be considered when child abuse is discussed and how cruel it is.. here the report:.

  jehovah’s witnesses are counselled against associating, fraternising or conversing with a person who has been disfellowshipped or who has chosen to disassociate from the jehovah’s witness organisation.

  Than a for posting this also, I too live in the US and no one seems to know a thing or if they do they are not talking.

  The hall I attended had 3 child molesters in it that I knew of, I am fairly sure in my city there are way more as we have a prison here where the state sends a lot of pedophiles and the local elder's have a prison ministry there. I know that's where 2 of the 3 we had came from.

  Before I knew anything they were promoting the prision like crazy, not sure if it's still as strong as I don't go anymore.

  I would love to see it break open worse than the Catholic's did as it is way more rotten. I have been threatened with being DF'ed for speaking up. I would love to see this all end in my life time.

  im printing this off and spending my next sunday morning doing some door to door work posting this article through all the letter boxes of the street my local kh is on.. it's shocking that none of the r&f know about this.

  i have a feeling that the 2 witness rule will be revised in 2017 and made to look like it was jehovah's proper time.

  Steve 2 I really hope your right. From what I have seen here in the state's they are not backing down at all. I just had a CO in July tell me pedophiles will go in service period and no one in the hall is allowed to know. he was so arrogant and so proudfull he actually had his chest puffed out.

  I just can't see it ever changing though I wish with all my strength it would.
